In a quick summation of the article, it seems the Russian ambassador believes that the 2014 Olympics will be completely safe. He seems to believe that the "widows" pose no real threat and that his forces will keep all Olympians and civilians safe. Can he promise this? How does he know that the "widows" are no real threat? Should the US forces be involved as a safe haven? All these questions should and need to be answered. Sergey Kislyak, Russian ambassador, believes so much in his own forces that he threw out the idea that the US would give an extra hand with our military. He did on the other hand allow the US forces to station themselves just outside of the coast so that if they do need help, we would be there to support them.
